Romans 8:23-25

²³ and not only creation, but even ourselves. We ourselves, who have the firstfruits^[a] of the Ruach, groan inwardly as we eagerly wait for adoption—the redemption of our body.

²⁴ For in hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? ²⁵ But if we hope for what we do not see, then we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
